Return Policy

Please note that all return must have a return authorization number provided by our customer service department. You may either call us toll free at 877-957-7708 (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm PST) or send an email to and a customer service rep will set up an RMA for you. RMAs are valid only for 1 month from the date of issue.

Customers must use some form of Post Office, FedEx, or UPS tracking service when returning their orders to Double Inks. We will not be held responsible for lost packages.

Unopened merchandise may be returned for a full refund up to 30 days from the order date. $4.99 shipping fee is not refundable. Orders that have received free shipping a $4.99 fee will be deducted from the total. All refunds after 30 days and up to 180 days from the order date will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. No replacements or refunds will be accepted past 180 days from the order date. For all refund request customers are responsible for return shipping charges. We will not refund any returned cartridge that are used up (empty) or not purchased from us. Such cartridges will be sent to recycling.

If customers refuse delivery and the package is returned to us by the carrier, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted. In the event that the restocking fee is less than the cost of shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted; not to exceed $30. Please note that in cases like this we will incur two shipping charges for the outgoing package, and returned one.

Opened merchandise that is believed to be defective can be returned for up to 180 days from the purchase date for a one for one replacement. For your convenience, Double Inks may provide a return label for replacement. Such labels can either be emailed or mailed. Cartridges returned must be purchased from Double Inks and be at least 80% full. We will not replace cartridges that are used or not ours. If customers return cartridges not ordered from us or are empty, using a return label provided by us, all shipping charges incurred by us will be charged to the customer; (minimum of $4.99 but not to exceed $19.99.) Such cartridges will be sent to recycling. If the problem was not fixed with the first replacement then no more replacements will be made and the customer will be advised to return the cartridges for a refund. You might be contacted by us to verify your credit card numbers that needs to be refunded on. For all refund request customers are responsible for return shipping charges. No replacements or refunds will be accepted past 180 days from the order date.

We understand that sometimes you might not want to wait to return the replacement and then get a new one sent. In this case a new order will be charged and once the defective has been returned the new order will be refunded. Refunds will be applied in the same methods in which were paid, within 3 5 business days of their return.

In the event you did not receive your order, we must be notified within 72 hours from the date and time marked by the carrier tracking. We will not be responsible for incorrect addresses or if you failed to provide us with an apartment or suite number. Such information can be verified by customers at the time when the order confirmation email has been sent to them and notify us immediately before the order has been shipped. Customers are responsible for tracking their packages and also for making sure that their address is current with us. You can obtain such tracking numbers by logging into your account, using the email address and password used creating the account. Such tracking numbers are also emailed to the email address on file when the package is marked shipped. For military APO/FPO addresses, we are not responsible for lost or delayed packages. For such orders our liability ends at the time the package is handed over to the respective carrier.
